Inside the 7on7 Summer Classic: 16 Teams, One Bracket, All 305

By 9 a.m. the parking lot at Traz Powell was already full. By noon, the bleachers were. This is what a 305Games Saturday looks like: sixteen of the best 7on7 teams in South Florida, one bracket, and a crowd that treats an August scrimmage like a playoff game.

The morning pool play

The upsets started early. Two of the top seeds dropped games before lunch, and by the afternoon the bracket looked nothing like the projections.

The championship

It came down to the final possession, as the best ones always do. We had the mic'd-up sideline, the endzone angle, and the crowd reaction. All of it lives on our channels now, result included.
